Renormalization Group Induced Neutrino Masses in Supersymmetry without R-parity

چکیده

We study supersymmetric models without R parity and with universal soft supersymmetry breaking terms. We show that as a result of the renormalization group flow of the parameters, a misalignment between the directions in field space of the down-type Higgs vacuum expectation value vd and of the μ term is always generated. This misalignment induces a mixing between the neutrinos and the neutralinos, resulting in one massive neutrino. By means of a simple approximate analytical expression, we study the dependence on the different parameters that contribute to the misalignment and to mν . In large part of the parameter space this effect dominates over the standard one-loop contributions to mν ; we estimate 1 MeV < ∼ mν < ∼ 1 GeV. Laboratory, cosmological and astrophysical constraints imply mν < ∼ 100 eV. To be phenomenologically viable, these models must be supplemented with some additional mechanism to ensure approximate alignment and to suppress mν . E-mail address: [email protected]

Neutrino Oscillations in Supersymmetry without Lepton number conservation and R-parity

With the on-shell renormalization scheme, we discuss neutrino masses up to one-loop approximation in the Supersymmetry without lepton number conservation and R-parity. Ii is shown that in this model with experimentally allowed parameters, ∆m 32 , ∆m 12 and the mixing angles | sin θ23|, | sin θ12| which are consistent with the present observation values can be produced. We find that small neutri...

R-parity violation effects through soft supersymmetry-breaking terms and the renormalization group.

We present full renormalisation group equations for the MSSM with R-parity violation, including all soft supersymmetry breaking terms. The inclusion of dimensionless R-parity violating couplings can generate many possible low energy effects through the generation of off-diagonal soft masses violating lepton and quark flavour, and through the generation of lepton-Higgs mixing. We discuss the rel...

Neutrino Masses and Mixings from Supersymmetry with Bilinear R–Parity Violation: A Theory for Solar and Atmospheric Neutrino Oscillations

The simplest unified extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with bi-linear R–Parity violation naturally predicts a hierarchical neutrino mass spectrum, in which one neutrino acquires mass by mixing with neutralinos, while the other two get mass radiatively. We have performed a full one-loop calculation of the neutralino-neutrino mass matrix in the bi-linear Rp / MSSM, taking spe...

Calculable inverse-seesaw neutrino masses in supersymmetry

We provide a scenario where naturally small and calculable neutrino masses arise from a supersymmetry breaking renormalization-group-induced vacuum expectation value. We adopt a minimal supergravity scenario without ad hoc supersymmetric mass parameters. The lightest supersymmetric particle can be an isosinglet scalar neutrino state, potentially viable as WIMP dark matter through its Higgs new ...

Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking without R – Parity

We analyze the low energy features of a supersymmetric standard model where the anomaly–induced contributions to the soft parameters are dominant in a scenario with bilinear R–parity violation. This class of models leads to mixings between the standard model particles and supersymmetric ones which change the low energy phenomenology and searches for supersymmetry. In addition, R–parity violatio...
